Toothbrushes now made in Canada

A major project has finally come to fruition. Since April 2021, the regular OLA Bamboo toothbrushes coming from our warehouse have been manufactured in Canada (in Drummondville, to be precise).

The manufacturing setup in Canada makes OLA Bamboo the first company to manufacture bamboo toothbrushes in Canada. And even, according to our research, the first in Canada to make any kind of toothbrush.

Opportunities for Locals

After the many problems associated with the Covid-19 pandemic, we made the decision to start making our eco-friendly toothbrushes here in Canada. This means $500,000 in investments and the creation of new jobs. We have also increased our purchases of goods and services from Quebec and Canadian companies.

An Even Greener Toothbrush!

Basically, our toothbrush was already eco-friendly, butCanadian manufacturingmakes it even greener. This allows us to lower thecarbon footprintof every toothbrush made here by more than 50%.By taking the reins of the factory, we have even greater control over product quality and a bigger social impact by hiring new employees. And we’ve done all that while keeping the same affordable price as before. We are proud of this achievement.
