Bamboo plate for baby
Plastic is found in many everyday products. We are trying to reduce it as much as possible. We are pleased to offer you a pretty bamboo version to replace the colourful plastic plates that our children love so much! They will fall in love with these adorable, stylish elephants and cubs!

Wash the plate by hand and make sure to dry thoroughly before putting it away. You can remove the silicone suction cup to thoroughly dry the area underneath.

The plate is treated with a corn- and soy-based oil. To maintain the quality of the bamboo, we suggest applying a thin layer of natural vegetable oil from time to time. Use a paintbrush or cloth to coat the plate with oil, wiping off the excess with a clean cloth.

Please note that the laser engraved designs could fade away with use, scrubbing and cleaning.

It is important never to put the plate in the dishwasher or microwave.

Is there melamine formaldehyde in any OLA Bamboo products?

OLA Bamboo products are made from real bamboo wood; therefore, they do not contain melamine formaldehyde, which is used only when products are made from bamboo powder or fibres. That means that OLA Bamboo products are completely safe for you and your family’s health.

Why did you put a silicone suction cup on the children’s plate?

Safety is vital. We know that children do not often sit still and sometimes try to knock dishes over. That’s why the suction cup is crucial. Although bamboo is an exceptional material, it cannot be used to make suction cups; therefore, we needed to use silicone.Because the children’s plate is made to be long-lasting, the silicone suction cup will also be used for years and years. It won’t be thrown in the trash after only a few uses.

Can hot food be placed on bamboo plates?

Bamboo is considered heat-resistant so you can serve hot food on bamboo plates without worrying.

Are Bamboo plates safe for kids?

Bamboo is a safe option to choose as it is eco-friendly and healthy for your kiddo. It has natural antibacterial properties and is grown without the use of pesticides and insecticides. OLA Bamboo's baby plates are completely safe for kids as they are made from real wood instead of bamboo powder or fibre. If properly maintained, the plates should last for years; you can go ahead and give them away or hand them down to another child when yours outgrows them.

At the end of their lifespan, you can put them in the trash because most compost facilities cannot process larger pieces of bamboo/wood.
